Another blonde moment?

I will preface this blog with the fact that I am embarrassed to admit what I am about to write.

Let me state that I have a masters degree. I typically made really good grades in school. I can solve a sudoku puzzle.

But today, I lost my car in a parking garage. I was living a Seinfeld episode. Thank goodness I wasn't lugging around an air conditioner or a bag of goldfish.

I could have sworn I parked on level 5 - on the side of the garage that is the going down part. But my car wasn't where I thought it would be. Was it stolen? Did it get towed? No, maybe I parked on level 6. Nope. Maybe level 4? Nope. I started to laugh at myself and the intrigued faces of the people that kept passing me in the parking garage as I walked up and down and down and up the ramps looking for my silver xterra. Laughing, although deep down I was really worried.....what if I can't find it in time to get over to the school for my 1:00 patient?

By the way, did you know that silver xterras are very popular? I saw 5 of them before I finally happened upon the right one. Each time, a little glimmer of hope - my heart skipped a little beat - but only to be disappointed when the button wouldn't make the tail lights flash.
25 minutes later, I found the missing vehicle, just in time to get over to the school to treat my 1:00 patient. And yes, I had parked on level 5 on the going down part.....how did I not see it the first time?

Another blonde moment? Maybe.

You're the best, and your grammar is superb! Your story made me think about when I scoured the tiny parking lot at Waterchase looking for Keenan's truck, feeling like a dumba-- because I couldn't find it, and it had been stolen! Love you, girl, and miss you!
