It is sunny and 95 degrees outside - not a cloud in the sky - in fact I contemplated going to the pool today, but I have the itch to start my fall decorating. Maybe because I am watching football - the first official weekend for the NFL - and that seems to get me thinking about wraping up in a blanket when you have that great chill in the air, when you start to smell the fireplaces burning as it gets a little colder - you know that in Dallas - some of those people have the fireplace burning with the air conditioner on : ) Wish I could whip up some spiced cider so that the house would smell sooooo good - but it would just be a waste - as it is way to hot to drink hot spiced cider today. I have pulled the decorations out of the box and can't wait to go buy some pumpkins and some mums to put on the porch.
Just a small preview of my fun fall stuff to play with - maybe I will show the finished product later after I get the pumpkins and mums. Just getting ready for one of my favorite times of year....Thanksgiving with my family! (more on that later : )
